Jade, like many others had a tough upbringing and faced many of the pressures young people face today. She found her freedom through therapy and felt liberated. Jade’s passion to help young people find their own path to freedom drove her to launching her own private practice.
Young people of today face many pressures, something she can wholly relate to. Bullying, self harm and social expectations are becoming more prevalent in early years than ever before and it is unlikely to decrease. Therefore young people need to learn how to cope and that’s where Jade’s expertise lies. Jade’s vision is to create a range of services (one-one or group work) that are available for young people to deal with the pressures of youth and instil a sense of hope and direction for them. Jade also works closely with Schools to provide group workshops that focus on educating young people and equipping them with coping skills and strategies to deal with the daily challenges they face, as well as offering behavioural and emotional support.
Jade is dedicated to transforming the lives of today’s youth. She is an established mentor for young people at Mosaic Network, the Youth Charity Off Centre in Hackney and YMCA youth centres across Hertfordshire, with extensive experience in CAMHS mental health facilities such as The Priory Hospital Group and Ellern Mede Hospital for Eating Disorders. Her vision is to use her knowledge, skills and training, together with empathy and understanding, to transform how young people think feel and behave. Jade is a regular columnist for the Holistic Therapist Magazine and the Holistic Health Magazine coaching readers on issues facing today’s youth. She holds a Mastery Diploma in NLP Hypnotherapy and Coaching and is trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). She uses a combination of these skills to facilitate lasting change with the people she works with.
